THE BRAND STORY:

Pixie Nut & Co. first began in 2016 with a range of recycled greeting cards, and has since expanded into a beautiful collection of Australian-inspired accessories and clothing. Designer Philippa works from home in an off-grid community in Northern NSW, surrounded by subtropical rainforests.

"I’m originally from Perth where I draw much of my inspiration. Western Australian is so beautiful, I went up and down the coast a lot as a kid. I’m also inspired by my current surrounds in the Northern Rivers and all the amazing bird life here and various road trips around the country, especially the red center. I'd always wanted to be an illustrator or fashion designer so it’s really cool that I've ended up doing something in-between where I can explore both dreams. I studied a diploma of fashion design and technology and an advanced diploma of set and costume design at WAAPA." Pixie Nut & Co. Designer and Founder, Philippa Nilant
