VSSL was born from a simple idea: carry less, do more, and leave the outdoors better than you found it. Founder Todd Weimer grew up exploring the wilds of Northern Canada, where travelling light wasn’t a choice — it was survival. That early resourcefulness shaped VSSL’s philosophy: build gear that eliminates waste, reduces bulk, and lasts for a lifetime of adventure.

Every VSSL product is designed to replace disposable, single‑use, or easily broken outdoor items with durable, repairable, and highly functional tools.
