Make Your Own Coconut Lip Balm
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp beeswax beads (or ½ tbsp candelilla wax for a vegan alternative)
- 1 tbsp mango butter
- 4 drops lime essential oil
- 4 drops mandarin essential oil
- 4 drops grapefruit essential oil
Method
- Melt the wax, mango butter and coconut oil together in a glass jug over a simmering saucepan of water.
- Once melted, add your essential oils and mix quickly.
- Pour the mixture into 15ml reusable lip balm containers, and allow to cool before sealing.
How To Use
Use daily as desired. Store in a cool dry place and use within 4 months. This recipe makes enough to approx. fill 2 x 15ml lip balm containers. Tip: use an essential oil combination of your choice, or none at all.Disclaimer
