Brand story

In late 1997, Urthly Organics founder Julie stumbled across 'How to Make Your Own Aromatherapy Soaps', a book by Elizabeth Wright. Immediately, she realised she had also stumbled across a passion.

Starting as Soapbox Hill in 2002, Julie began to sell her home made soaps at markets.

After many years of building up a solid fan base, Urthly Organics underwent a rebrand in 2018. It was time to jump up from the local markets to the big leagues. Moving the business out of her home and into a warehouse & production facility, Julie found the brand began to expand even more.

Today, Urthly Organics has a larger team, donates monthly to local organisations and is an extremely well known natural soap brand all over Australia.

However, one thing remains the same: Julie still places the planet before profits.
