Since our beginning in 2003, long before sustainability was a buzz word, we've built a reputation as a trailblazing eco friendly retailer that aims to help our customers live with less waste, less toxins and less impact on the planet. We were the first retailer to gain B Corp Certification in the country, and go above and beyond all other natural and eco retailers to only sell products that are 100% free from destructive palm oil, free from petrochemicals and synthetic preservatives and fragrances, and that are mindful of people and animals. To operate our business in sustainable ways, we:

• Choose 100% GreenPower for our locations.
• Offset the carbon emissions of shipping your online parcels and operating our business, and are on a journey to NetZero by 2030.
• Ship our parcels plastic free.
• Partner with Terracycle and others to provide extensive recycling for hard to recycle items such as pens and toothpaste tubes.
• Recycle cardboard boxes for void fill and use paper tape to seal boxes.
• Support environmental groups and charities.
• Have never offer plastic shopping bags in our stores, and run a bag deposit scheme where we use your donated paper bags for other customers!
• Fit out our stores re-purposing materials or sourcing new fixtures made with sustainable materials. We avoid MDF, PVC and formaldehyde, use zero VOC paints, water-saving devices.

Over the last two decades we've been obsessed with finding solutions to environmental problems, scrutinising products to uncover green-washing, hidden toxins, and dubious ingredients.
