The farm that The Carob Kitchen gets their carob from is the oldest organic carob organisation in Australia. Started in 1997, each tree is grown and cared for from seed to adult.
A family run operation, the carob is harvested and passed along to daughter Sophie, who develops new carob goodies for all of Australia to enjoy.
Biome acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation (Burwood), Bundjalung, Yugambeh and Koombumerrii people (Southport), and Yuggera and Turrbul people (Meanjin / Brisbane) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that we work on. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
