They offer full UVA/UVB protection and Pela have re-engineered the frame without metal hinges so they and even the lenses will breakdown at end of life, making them 100% biodegradable; a world first! Hatched from a want to create a waste free future, Pela believe that technology exists to make everyday products without everyday waste. Pela was inspired by the Spanish word that can mean peel or to peel. Their thought process was, what if you could guard your "Apple" with a natural "peel" and hence Pela was born! Pela's co-founder, Jeremy Lang, created the proprietary blend of starch-based elastomer with flax shive that has now created thousands of phone cases all over the world. Transferring their attention to eyewear, commenting that it's been a labour of love, getting rid of traditional hinges, and metal bits to ensure that they have perfected a sustainable pair of frames that will completely biodegrade in a landfill. We are shipping orders in 1 to 2 working days. Express orders placed by 10am are sent same day. Please note that Australia Post is taking longer than normal to deliver, including express is not always next day. Thank you so much for supporting us.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

Standard: Normally our orders leave within 24 hours from Brisbane (Monday - Friday). Orders will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $75. Shipping for orders under $75 is $9.95, or $6.95 for delivery to SE Qld postcodes 4000-4299, 4500-4549.

Express: place orders by 10am. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.
