Materials
This Pela Airpods case is made of Flaxstic®, which is comprised of compostable bioplastic elastomer and flax straw materials (45% plant based) Our material has been tested to be safe and free of phthalates, BPA, cadmium and lead and is verified to meet child safety standards in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Pela's base material meets U.S. (ASTM D6400-04) and E.U. (EN 13432) standards for composting in an industrial composting facility and has a lower carbon footprint and lower greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastic. It can also be left to compost in a home composting environment.
We have Pela cases suitable for iPhone, Samsung and Google Pixel, plus Airpods and ipad cases, and accessories, including a Magsafe module to slip in the case to allow wireless charging.

Pela was inspired by the Spanish word that can mean peel or to peel. Their thought process was, what if you could guard your "Apple" with a natural "peel" and hence Pela was born! Pela's co-founder, Jeremy Lang, created the proprietary blend of starch-based elastomer with flax shive that has now created thousands of phone cases all over the world. Flax shive is an annually renewable byproduct of the flax oil seed harvest in Canada and is typically burned down at the end of each season. Using this “waste” by product gives Pela cases added strength and natural shock absorption and provides local farmers with another source of revenue. Step 3: Invite mates to your order. They have 8 hours to join your order.
*Mateship only works with standard shipping, not express.
45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty. *except skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Standard: Once the order has shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination.
Express: only for orders up to 4kg and excludes bulky/heavy items.
Heavy/Overwight Orders: Order overs 5kg in weight will attract a $5 extra weight surcharge.
Click & Collect: choose your local store at checkout and your order to be there within 2 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse). Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.
International: Flat rate shipping for orders up to 2kg. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas.
