Brand story
SEDA Collective is an ethical jewellery brand collaborating with Indigenous artisans around the world in the form of wearable art. It all began in 2017 when founder Denara met a talented indigenous artisan. Mauricio introduced Denara to different techniques and meanings behind the various weaving patterns of tribes, and how they represented the values and culture of the Indigenous people. Their traditional hand-woven technique is a unique skill passed down through many generations. This fuelled Denara's passion to bring gorgeous wearable art to an international audience, so she and two artisans began designing their first collection for SEDA Collective. SEDA means 'voice and echo': each design makes up the voices and echoes of the Indigenous tribes with which SEDA works.
