ETHIQUE Multi-purpose Kitchen Spray Concentrate 25g - Sweet Orange. A plastic-free, kitchen spray solid concentrate. Made with ingredients like sweet orange oil to leave the kitchen smelling fresh and clean. To make, simply mix the concentrated bars with boiling water and you've got a fresh batch of cleaning spray ready to go into your own bottle, minus the plastic! One box makes one bottle.

Features

the brand story:

Created in 2012 when founder, Brianne West, began making natural beauty bars, in her science degree lab, in response to the 80 billion plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles thrown out globally each year. Since then, Ethique™ (which is French for ethical) has grown out of a Kiwi kitchen into a fully-fledged, award-winning international beauty brand. To date we have stopped over 6 million plastic bottles from being made & disposed of into landfills. By 2025, they aim to hit 50 million.

Now, ETHIQUE are rethinking refillables with their world-first, patent-pending, range of Concentrates that was two years in the making. They provide the concentrated blocks and you provide the water! Each Concentrates bar saves 700ml of water and one plastic bottle from manufacture and disposal into landfill. Only 9% of all plastic ever made has been recycled, and the products in them are typically made up of 70-95% water. But ETHIQUE get it, not everyone likes bars.

    Great product

It’s my seconde time buying that one. I’m glad this product exist. The packaging goes in the compost and the contenant get use. It last for a while and smells good. Very efficient too. I recommend to dissolve it in a little sauce pan and stir it until liquid.

    Lovely scent but leaves streaks!

Bought this for the 2nd time even though it leaves streaks. I won’t be using it on glass or anything so that is fine for my purposes.

I find it a bit expensive as well, as you get not even half a litre out of one bar. Still searching for other refill options. Maybe my local zero waste shop it going to stock household cleaners soon. Then I would swap!

All in all a good product that needs some minor improvements (less streaky, bit bigger bar and maybe in the future a price drop if it reaches a certain economy of scale).
