This FSC Beechwood Nutcracker is a great addition to any hands-on household. Introduced as early as the 17th Century, the manual operation simulates a traditional experience. This handheld device will fit most nuts and is strong enough to crack Aussie Macadamia nuts.

Standard: Once the order has been shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $60. Shipping for orders under $60 is $9.95.

Express: place orders by noon AEST. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.

Fine for some nuts, NOT MACADAMIAS

If you buy precracked macadamias this might work, but not fresh intact macadamias. My hand is blistered trying to get this to work.

No nuts...

... the Cockys steal them all.
It works well on the rare few Macadamia that are left! The design is fantastic - how the nut sits in the well - and it looks presentable.

Strong

Purchased as a gift for my dad for Christmas as we always give him a bag of nuts to crack, he loves it. I gave it a go and it was easy work to crack the nuts. Great price too.

Doesn't work on macadamia nuts

I was looking for a nutcracker for macadamia nuts and ordered this thinking that it would work on them. Wrong. No amount of hand strength is enough to crack a macadamia with this nutcracker. I now notice that the description mentions "Aussie Macadamia nuts", perhaps (given the capitalisation of macadamia) these are a particular brand of store bought nuts that are already shelled? Not sure, but it definitely will not crack the shell of the macadamias from my Sydney backyard tree!
