Parissa's founder, Azar Moayeri, was the first female chemical engineer to graduate from the University of Edinburgh. Talk about qualifications! Azar then went on to have a very successful corporate career in her home country of Iran.
Upon moving to Canada, Azar decided it was time to begin a new venture, a home-based, planet-friendly business that was able to support her and her family. And so, out of Azar's kitchen, Parissa was born. Today, Parissa is the world's leading natural hair removal brand, with an aim to help everybody feel comfortable in their own skin. Parissa products are made from ethically sourced ingredients and are leaping bunny certified, meaning no animals are EVER harmed in the production process.
