Other things to keep in mind
Reusable cutlery and a fabric napkin will ensure you avoid the disposable alternatives. You could put a set together yourself with a hanky and cutlery from the drawer, otherwise our reusable bamboo cutlery set is a nice option. This one will go through airport security too. If you're picking up hot dishes and using a stainless steel or glass container, be mindful that these containers may get a bit hot to handle. Wrap them in a fabric napkin or tea towel, or carry them in a cotton bag to avoid burning your fingers.
