How to Make our DIY Anti Dandruff Conditioning Spritz

Ingredients

You will also need a medium glass jar with lid, a fine sieve or hemp coffee filter and a spritzer bottle.

Method

  1. Place the dried herbs into a glass jar and cover with lavender hydrosol. Push the herbs down to ensure they are fully covered by the liquid. Seal and shake. Leave to infuse for 2 days, shaking occasionally.
  2. After 2 days, strain the liquid using a fine sieve or hemp coffee filter. Ensure you remove all the herbs. You will be left with a beautiful, fresh smelling liquid with a pretty purple hue.
  3. Pour into a spritzer bottle.

How to Use

Shake well before each use. You can use this as a conditioning spritz after washing with shampoo or a shampoo bar. Spritz as needed to condition, tame flyaways ad give shine. You can choose to then rinse it out or leave it in. You can also use as a rinse but pouring some onto your scalp and through your hair. Note: As the herbs absorb some of th liquid durnig the infusion stage, you will be left with slightly less than when you started. This mixture makes enough to fill approximately 2 x 100ml glass amber spray bottles. As this is a plant based mixture, keep out of direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place or in the fridge. Use within 2 weeks or less in hot weather. It is best to make this in small batches.
