Care & Use

It is possible to store food and preparations in Le Parfait Familia Wiss jars and terrines in the freezer for food storage.

Jam makers, honey jars and fresh bottles should not be placed in the freezer under any circumstances, this may damage the seal of the lid thus making the product unusable.

    Good but

I like the extra interior lid, but no longer use this type of jar for kimchi (too much fuss to burp), or screw it down firmly for pickles since if I forget it in the back of the fridge and there is even a small amount of salt or sugared water on the neck it can cause the thread to seize and become difficult to open.
