Below we've outlined the benefits of each of the ingredients used.

Beeswax is healing and high in Vitamin A.

Shea Butter reduces inflammation that occurs with pimples.

Coconut Oil is antifungal and antibacterial, reducing redness and puffiness.

Tea Tree has been clinically shown to reduce the number and severity of pimples when applied daily for 45 days.

Lavender Oil has antibacterial, antiseptic, and scar-lessening properties.

Eucalyptus Oil can eliminate P. acnes, the bacteria responsible for most kinds of acne.

Rosemary Oil has pain relieving properties, which sometimes occurs with large pimples.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Melt the beeswax, shea butter, and coconut oil together in a glass jug over a simmering saucepan of water.
  2. Once melted, add your essential oils and mix quickly.
  3. Pour the mixture into lip balm containers or kraft tubes for ease of use. Allow to cool and set.

How To Use

Simply apply every time a pimple appears.

Tip: Make up a few to have on hand at home, school or work.

This recipe makes enough to fill two large kraft tubes (pictured).
