Palm Oil Investigations (POI) can confirm that every INDAH product is 100% palm oil free, meaning INDAH is POI approved. This is incredibly important for Biome - after years of asking for palm oil declaration in products, we decided to remove products from our stores that contained palm oil altogether. Palm oil production is destroying our environment: it causes deforestation in Indonesia and Malaysia, meaning endangered animals like orangutans are getting killed, and more carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. click here. Lowry is also an official ambassador to Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia (BOSA) since 2012, where she volunteers, educates, and raises funds for the rescue and rehabilitation of orangutans.
Zero-Waste Packaging
INDAH's products are all packaged responsibly, so you can recycle or reuse the containers once you've finished their awesome contents. The packaging is either BPA-free, recyclable plastic bottles, or containers made from glass or aluminium.
Completely Vegan and Cruelty Free
INDAH is accredited by Choose Cruelty Free - an independent, non-profit, Australian organisation that campaigns against animal testing in cosmetics and household products. This means all INDAH products are vegan, cruelty free, and totally guilt free for you.
Majority is Handcrafted in Oz
The majority of INDAH's products are handcrafted in Australia, in small, fresh batches by the brand's founder, Teisha Lowry. Lowry not only crafts and bottles every product, but she's formulated every recipe too. That's some serious love. The only product not shaped by Lowry's hands is the Coconut Oil To Go, which is hand-pressed through muslin cloth in Bali. This produces one of the purest coconut oils around.
