Is a bottle with a Bisphenol A (BPA) free lining or a stainless steel bottle without a lining safest? Both choices are safe. In both cases it is important to choose bottles from a trusted brand. We believe that Klean Kanteen and Nathan are manufactured to high and safe standards using only high-quality, sanitary grade 304 stainless steel with a low nickel content. Their bottles are tested to check for the presence of hazardous substances. SIGG bottles are aluminium with a BPA-free lining. The bottles are independently tested to show that no BPA or other toxins leach into the contents.
