Where timber is involved Planet Finska only use environmentally sustainable hardwood. They do not use mdf, chipboard or softwoods such as pine that are less attractive, chip easily and less likely to last.
Bats are handcrafted out of beech, maple and sapele and finished with a protective clear varnish with a high quality PU leather grip.
'Slow' rated balls with less bounce for a better 'feel' with each shot.
High quality which is on par with the European Frescobol sets.
Comes with a heavy duty canvas bag with a front flap to help keep sand out and protect the paddles. Easy transportation and storage.

beautiful paddles...but not exactly easy to play.

the bag is so useful as it keeps everything together. the paddles are gorgeous but a bit heavy. and the game itself isn't easy to play. suppose need to keep playing to get better at the game. the ball bounces off really quite fast. need to have quick reflexes. gorgeous set though.

We bought this for our whole family for Christmas. The quality of the bag and the bats is superb. (We have only had it a few months, so can't say how well the balls will last but they seem also be to really top quality.) They bats feel great to hold but are not too heavy for our 7 yr olds to use. We took it to our friend's house on Christmas Day as our entertainment and everyone loved it. The dads seemed to be particularly entertaining with their volleys but everyone had a go. It is great to have purchased something that was worth the price and will be enjoyed for years to come.
