Underprotection is a brand combining ethics and aesthetics. The brand was founded in Copenhagen in 2010 with the goal of combining sustainability and fashion. They emphasized sustainable lingerie and swimwear being desirable, wearable and comfortable. Underprotection only works with sustainable and certified materials such as TENCEL™ lyocell, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, recycled wool, banana fibres and organic cotton.

Underprotection is also proud to say that they are a Certified B Corporation. On top of this, all underprotections packaging, paper and polybags are either recycled or biodegradable. Underprotection has a solid commitment to social sustainability, ensuring proper working conditions and wages. Underprotection offers two different sizing recommendations within the size guide: a tight fit and a looser fit. This way you can cater to your needs. 

How to measure yourself for sizing: Take measurements of yourself on bare skin for the most accurate results. 

Bra measurements: There are two important measurements for bra sizing: Bust and under-bust. For your bust measurement measure the full way around your bust where it's widest. Then measure all the way around just under your bust. 

Underprotection offers plus sizes in their bras to make sure larger cups can still fit the bras. How this works is the under band stays the same while the cup size goes up a size. For example if the size is a S+ it means the under band fits a standard S while the cup size fits a M. 

care: 

Wash at 30 degrees, we recommend using a  Guppy Bag washing bag to treat this garment with care. Be careful with jewellery to avoid catching.

In the interest of hygiene, we have a strict no-returns or exchanges policy on underwear unless the item exhibits a genuine fault. 

end of life: 

When a garment has reached the end of it’s life and can no longer be worn, mended, swapped, gifted, donated or upcycled, we recommend consulting your local council to find your nearest textile recycling scheme.
