Komodo are the original ethical brand since '88, founded by Mark Bloom (aka Joe Komodo). They are dedicated to creating clothes that are sustainable and don’t have a negative impact on the environment. 

Komodo use premium quality organic, natural and eco fibres, and are breaking new ground with innovative fabrics such as green PU coating and recycled PET, from plastic bottles. Most of their products are vegan, and all are cruelty free. They also no longer have single use plastics in our supply chain. All items are made in safe and fair labor conditions through their long standing relationships with partners in Kathmandu, Bali, India and China, supporting local communities and important social projects. The majority of factories they use hold certifications like SA8000 and GOTS or are independently audited by bodies like UL.

When a garment has reached the end of it’s life and can no longer be worn, mended, swapped, gifted, donated or upcycled, we recommend consulting your local council to find your nearest textile recycling scheme.
