you are making a difference:

  • This paste makes 10 litres of nut mylk from one reusable glass jar - saving at least 10 cartons from landfil.
  • Locally made and owned, supporting Australian business.

features:

  • 96% almonds.
  • Smooth and creamy.
  • Uses Australian Certified Organic ingredients.
  • Safe to heat and cook with and is perfect for baking and making desserts.
  • Mylk will last approx. 3-4 days once made up.
  • Ready in 90 seconds.
  • If you like your mylk sweetened, try Ulu Hye's Original Nut Mylk Base.

directions:

To make mylk: Simply blend 1.5-2 tbsp (30-40g) of Nut Mylk Base along with 1000mls of water, on high, for 1 minute. Transfer to glass jar or bottle, chill then serve! If you would like to make less or more mylk, just adjust quantity of the base to the ratio of water used. Shake before pouring as contents may settle.

To make a smoothie: Add a single serve of Nut Mylk Base, 1 tsp (7.5g), directly to your blender, along with your smoothie ingredients, 250ml water and blend, allowing you to make your mylk and smoothie at the same time.

storage and life of mylk:

  • Storing Nut Mylk Base jar - if you want to extend shelf life, or you live in a warm & tropical climate, store your jar in the fridge. Fridge-stored Mylk Base can harden, so a high-powered blender is recommended.
  • Mylk Base shelf life once jar opened - refer to best before sticker. Consuming the jar within 2 months of opening is advised.
  • Blended Mylk shelf life - once you make your Mylk from the base, it will last approx. 3-4 days. Shake before pouring.

ingredients:

Title : Great macros, great taste!
Comment : I've been looking for an almond milk with nutritional info comparable to this and haven't had much luck. This is super low in carbs (which is good for a keto style diet), but the main thing for me is the ease of use and the reduction in plastic and milk cartons! I purchased with a Kilner glass bottle and make up what I need for a few days and store it in the fridge in glass and it's amazing, definitely recommend.

Title : Benefits outweigh any downsides
Comment : This a great product if you are wanting to reduced your single use plastic. However it does take a little getting used to compared to store bought almond milk as it's not as thick because it has no additives to thicken it, which I personally prefer as I don't like heavy milks. Also, I have it with my morning coffee and if it sits for a while it seperates from the coffee which looks a bit weird, but once you give it a stir it's fine.

Overall though, I like this product and will continue to use :)
