The Husk Mill was founded by Sydney based best friends Cherylea and Elaina who were both diagnosed with different autoimmune conditions at similar times which forced changes to their diets and lifestyle. It was from these challenges that The Husk Mill was born. The Husk Mill’s teas are made with the nutrient dense outer shell of the cacao bean - a waste product of the chocolate industry - that when steeped has a beautiful chocolatey flavour, rich in minerals and antioxidants but free of sugar, artificial flavours, colours and caffeine.The Husk Mill choose to work with like-minded farmers, suppliers and contractors in order to minimise their carbon footprint. Husks are sourced locally where possible, from plantations here in Australia, as well as from the Western slopes of the Andes in Peru.

instructions:
