what is the best way to store bread?

Storing bread in impermeable plastic encourages mold growth because moisture can not escape, and it makes bread chewy.
Bread is best stored in a bag or container that will stop airflow around the bread, but will still breathe somewhat. Let bread cool before wrapping in the bag, or leave bag slightly open until cool.
Store in a dark, cool place - but not in the refrigerator, which makes it go stale faster.
All bread will go stale within a few days. Then it is time to make toast; or, if it is a full loaf rather than sliced, run it quickly under some water then heat in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes to draw out the moisture so the bread becomes crusty again.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

Standard: Once the order has been shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $60. Shipping for orders under $60 is $9.95.

Express: place orders by noon AEST. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas.
