you are making a difference:

  • With proper care, this reusable product will last for many years, meaning substantially less waste ending up in landfill. More than 660 million disposable menstrual products end up in landfill every year in Australia alone, plus the packaging associated with disposables. They take a considerable amount of time to biodegrade and can also end up in our waterways, oceans and beaches.
  • In your lifetime, you would normally use over 10,000 disposable products. By using a reusable cloth liner, you will save these products from going into our landfills and polluting our waterways.
  • Certified Ecocert Organic cotton and Fair Wear Foundation.
  • Hemp grows with no pesticides or fertilisers and very little water.
  • Zero waste

features:

  • Pack of 10
  • Hemp is extra soft, super absorbent and naturally anti-bacterial
  • Long lasting reusable product that can be used and reused for years
  • No wings or snap closure, the grip comes from the fibre itself or you can use a little bit of removable fabric/fashion tape for extra security
  • Made of 2 layers of organic cotton and hemp fleece/french terry
  • Strong quality sewn edges to keep from fraying
  • Thin but absorbent
  • Great alternative to the conventional toxin-laden pads from the supermarket
  • Machine wash cold in laundry bag

Title : Do not stay in place on their own
Comment : I am pretty disappointed with these. There is possibly TMI coming up but given the price of these and the expectation that they will be in use for a long time I want to provide an honest review. These liners do not stay in place on their own. Without anything to secure them they wiggle around and also dropped into the loo the first few times I tried them. I had to fish them out. Apart from being gross this is also super inconvenient if you are out and about. I think I accidentally flushed one once, either that or it fell out while I was walking around as I could not find it. Not sure which is worse? As per another person’s review I started using a small piece of fashion tape to keep them in place (which means they are no longer zero waste) but the fabric does not take well to having the tape pulled off. The loops pull and stretch out. Not sure how long they will last doing this. I wouldn’t buy them again.

Title : Helps prevent waste
Comment : Good size, shape and profile (not too thick, contours easily). These liners seem to stay in place well enough in underwear, but securing with a small piece of double-sided tape is still best to keep them from dislodgement during trips to the loo. They’ve held up well being laundered over the last few weeks; there’s no reason to think that this will change. They’re a great replacement for disposable liners.
