Avirida came to life through a Kickstarter campaign in 2018 which was when their factory in Dorrigo, NSW was born. Avirida skincare products and compostable wooden jars are hand crafted, and have made the brand Sustainable Innovators Award Winners at the Tamworth Sustainability Expo. Their journey started when they began making their own skincare products to avoid purchasing lotions and balms wrapped in excessive plastic and to steer clear of the harmful chemicals they contain. The packaging solution was found in wood. A renewable resource sourced sustainably and, above all, it is completely natural and compostable.

We are shipping orders in 1 to 2 working days. Express orders placed by 10am are sent same day. Please note that Australia Post is taking longer than normal to deliver, including express is not always next day. Thank you so much for supporting us.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

*with the exception of skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Standard: Normally our orders leave within 24 hours from Brisbane (Monday - Friday). Orders will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $75. Shipping for orders under $75 is $9.95, or $6.95 for delivery to SE Qld postcodes 4000-4299, 4500-4549.

Express: place orders by 10am. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.
