Written by Doctor Sarah Lantz and Wei’er Higgs. Sarah Lanz is a mother of two and co-owner of Buchi Brew and Co, an Australian fermented beverages business. Wei’er Higgs is a mother of four and co-owner of Gutsy Ferments, an Australian fermented beverages business. These two ladies are passionate about raising their children, fermenting amazing food, running a business, and teaching others what they love to do.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

*with the exception of skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Standard: Normally our orders leave within 24 hours from Brisbane (Monday - Friday). Orders will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $75. Shipping for orders under $75 is $9.95, or $6.95 for delivery to SE Qld postcodes 4000-4299, 4500-4549.

Express: place orders by 10am. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.

You’ll LOVE this book!!

My favourite book and I know anyone who owns Forage, Ferment, Feast feels the same. Beautiful mix of recipes and stories that gave me the knowledge and confidence to expand my fermenting skills way past kombucha and kraut with great success. Ideal for both the beginner and experienced ferment lover. Ps you must make the miso umami caramel!!
