directions:

Jars and lids must be washed in warm soapy water.
Before preserving, jars must be sterilised in boiling water, do not pour boiling water directly into your jars.
When filling a hot jar be sure to leave appropriate space between the preserve and underside of lid, usually 1-2cm.
Air bubbles can be removed with a metallic or silicone spatula.
Make sure that the jar rim is clean and place the disc on the jar, place the outer metal band on the lid and tighten.
Do not retighten as this can result in seal failure.
Sealed jars should be left in an upright position for 24hours to cool. Store in a dark, dry and cool place.
Always check screw band for signs of deterioration before use.
