Using innovative and eco-friendly fabrics like ECONYL® and LENZING Modal, Salty Beasts are on a mission to be 100% sustainable.  They minimise waste by repurposing fabric offcuts as swing-tag loops, champion transparency in their design process and supply chain and only create quality garments in line with the requirements to last in the tough Aussie climate.  They even offer a take-back program as they work towards a closed-loop circular business model.

size:

Petite fit. We recommend moving to the next size if a growth spurt is scheduled.

We recommend that the best way to select the right size is to measure your child's height and reference this to the appropriate chart below. For example, if a girl is 125cm tall then she will most likely wear a girl's size 8. If a boy is 152cm tall he will most likely wear a boy's size 12. If they are between sizes then we recommend you purchase the next size up.

care:

• Before washing, turn the garment inside out.
• If it has a zip, do it up so it can tumble freely in the wash without snagging. After washing, dry it flat or hang it up — never leave it scrunched on the bathroom floor!
• We recommend using a guppyfriend™ washing bag. This will not only protect your favourite clothes, but will help reduce the amount of microfibres that might enter rivers and oceans from your washing machine.

In the interest of hygiene, we have a strict no-returns or exchanges policy on underwear/swimwear unless the item exhibits a genuine fault.

end of life:

Established in August 2019, the Salty Beasts Take Back Program enables customers to return their preloved Salty Beasts garments for R&D and recycling. All pieces must be Salty Beasts originals and can be in any condition whatsoever. Contact Salty Beasts directly for more on this program.

When a garment has reached the end of it’s life and can no longer be worn, mended, swapped, gifted, donated or upcycled, we recommend consulting your local council to find your nearest textile recycling scheme.
