the brand story:

Founder and CEO of OmieLife Inc., Nancy Yen found inspiration to create the Omiebox through her son who never ate more than a few bites of lunch during his first year of preschool, unless it was his favourite hot foods. Searching high and low for a solution to hot and cold storage in one lunch box, she decided to take matters into her own hands so kids could eat better and healthier. Pairing up with product designer and creative director Robin Bigio, they researched, prototyped, launched a successful Kickstarted campaign, and started production. The Omiebox was born from real in-home lunch-packing testing where the team learned a lot about the painstaking efforts parents take to create healthy lunches for their kids that nourish their soul.

• Leakpoof box as well as the individual compartments, except the square compartment (when not using the insulated bowl) which is only intended for sandwiches and other dry foods.
• Removable silicone seal for easy cleaning.
• Gives kids control over their meals.

• Easy to open, requires no setup, and lets kids scoop food out easily.

• Top rack dishwasher safe, but remove before heated dry cycle. Hand washing recommended.
