sizing:

Measurements are a guide only.  For instance the Harem pants have a different waist and hip to the leggings and the girls tees are a slimmer fit than the boys tees.

Aster & Oak clothing is cut generously to allow room for growth and will generally fit well beyond the recommended age. They also have elastic built into the playsuits, dresses, pants and jumpsuits to allow for a much more comfortable fit and all of the overalls, jumpsuits and playsuits have 2 rows of buttons on the straps for an easily adjustable height.

As babies grow so differently, often age is not the best indicator of size. Therefore size charts include weight and height to help you select the right size.
