Non-Toxic Dry Body Brush, has not been sprayed with chemicals. This double-side nail brush has firm tampico bristles that is brilliant at getting the dirt from under nails, cleaning your juicer, scrubbing hands, you name it. The timber is FSC certified, FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.

you are making a difference:

  • The brushes are NOT sprayed with chemicals, instead they are Heat Treated.  They are made from Certified FSC Timber. FSC certificate number: C109381. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
  • The bristles are made from genuine Tampico plant bristle which is from the Agave plant and are cleaned  with boiling water before being inserted into the brush. The timber is finished with natural wax.

Brush Care: 

As the brush is not chemically treated it must always be allowed to completely dry out to prevent it becoming waterlogged and the potential development of mould.

Regular application of a Tea Tree spray after each time you use the brush will help keep bristles clean.  After washing the brush, spend some time padding bristles into a towel to remove excess water from the bristles this will ensure the brush dries faster and reduces risk of mildew.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

Standard: Once the order has been shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $50. Shipping for orders under $50 is $9.95.

Express: place orders by noon AEST. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.

Disappointed

I was very dissatisfied with the durability of this brush. After very few uses, the bristles deteriorated. Not happy!

looks nice

But mine are very mouldy now - who thinks to put things in the sun after a shower? not me. They still work though and nice to know they are not plastic. Bristles not overly firm either.

Much prefer over plastic alternative

I much prefer this over the plastic alternative. Drained well, it has not gone mouldy like the plastic ones I've previously purchased. It is much nicer to use and has the option of the two sides.
