Her discoveries of radium and polonium dramatically helped in the fight against cancer, and she went on to win the Nobel Prize for Physics! Comment : I bought this book for my niece's birthday. She's still too young to really understand it, but it is such a beautiful book, I could pass it up.
The concept of these books is amazing and they will really inspire young girls.
