To avoid misleading claims and be sure that the bags you purchase will actually biodegrade rapidly and safely, look for independent certification. These dog waste bags are fully certified to EU OK Compost and US standards to be 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. They contain no polyethylene.

You may be aware of debate over 'degradable' plastic bags, which are polyethelene bags with a percentage of plant starch or additives. These bags break down into pieces of plastic debris that do not compost.

Disappointing

Was pretty disappointed by this product, it’s nearly impossible to get out a bag without it ripping! There are better products on the market

Finally!

I use to feel guilty every time I picked up a dog poo and placed it in the bin, because in essence it is a single use plastic bag (and you only need go as far as your local dog park to see the impact those nasty things can have)! But these bags take away the guilt - because you can compost them = yeah! If i am in a public space and can't thrown them in a compost bin (i.e. have to put them in a landfill bin) I always pick up some rubbish nearby to add something positive from this bag and it's contents ending up in landfill.... because unfortunately the benefits of a compostable bag are not as great in that situation. Recommend for anyone who has a dog.

Very happy with this product

Surprised how sturdy these bags are given they’re biodegradable and compostable. Let’s face it, there’s not many options re dog poo to be green so good to do what we can...
