Viva La Body Conditioner Bar 55g - Creamy Curls. Plastic free conditioner bar to work with your shampoo bar. For thick, curly or wavy hair. Full of nutrient and castor oil to strengthen, bring density to the hair, nourishes dry, damaged, or frizzy hair.  These solid bars will last as long as three bottles of liquid conditioner - highly concentrated!

Unlike most conditioner bars, Viva is free from palm oil-derived ingredients.

Handmade, palm oil free, certified cruelty free and vegan! Based in Darwin Australia surrounded by mango trees and all that is natural, Viva La Body was founded by Jo and Micko Srbinovski in 1999.

"Salon Formula" means that Viva La Body is a surfactant based shampoo, rather than a traditional shampoo soap bar that is made through the saponification process. These solid shampoos do not need a bottle or jar to work effectively!

directions:

Wet the conditioner bar and work into a silky lather in your hands.  A little goes a long way, so start with gliding a small amount over wet hair from scalp to the tips. Allow a couple of minutes for the conditioner to absorb then gently massage with your fingers right through to the scalp. Rinse thoroughly and only if needed repeat.  

We recommend washing and conditioning your hair no more than twice a week to keep it in peak condition.  For best results use in combination with the Viva La Body matching Solid Shampoo Salon Formula bar.  Be sure to leave your bar well drained between use to extend its life.

Not really effective

I had high hopes for this little bar of hair conditioning soap, but I found it difficult to apply and it didn't really condition my hair properly. It was an expensive mistake.

Wish it was the same size as the shampoo bar

This conditioner bar works extremely well. My hair feels hydrated after using this and I love how my hair smells after - like an expensive hair salon. Like with bottled hair products, I'm pretty sure this will run out sooner than my shampoo bar. I wish that it came in the same size as the shampoo bar since it's the same price.

Happy Curls

I have used this twice now, and it has left my hair soft and silky. My hair is very thick, each strand is thick too and prone to frizz - which while pretty tame right now has not gone away, I suspect I might have to invest in a silk pillowcase for that. And I still haven't quite got the hang of how to make my curls consistent and pretty, but my hair seems to be very happy with this moisture rich conditioner.

My daughter's hair has to die for ringlets with this

I am new to curls. I have always had straight hair and I had a child with curls - what to do?? I tried a few different products which were ok, but in the attempt to switch away from plastic bottles I was enticed by Viva la Body's promise of creamy curls (I did know the curls wouldn't actually be creamy). My toddler loved the pink box to death and even though she squished the soap into two pieces they are both still hanging on as tiny shreds many months later (currently purchasing bar two). I don't use shampoo with her, just this. I wet her hair and rub a bit on till I get a lather, then section by section I comb out the tangles with a wide toothed comb. Rinse and towel dry, I usually air dry her hair (or damp hair to bed). My reward is soft, shiny ringlets that get oodles of comments. So yes, I recommend trying this, though I know not all curly hair is the same (so I hear)!

Extremely long lasting, high quality, great portable conditioner

This is great and seriously exceeded my expectations. I was a bit unsure with the cost but it's lasted SO long and I still have so much of the bar left. I use it once a week and think this will last me well over a year, probably closer to two. You only need a couple of little wipes across your hair to get enough oil to condition with. It makes my wavy/curly hair look and feel great. Highly recommend. Note: for those sensitive to fragrance, the essential oil scent in this bar is subtle and I can't smell it after I've used it.
