Title : Good alternative to plastic
Comment : I bought these a while ago now. They are still going great. My only issue is that they are slippery and therefore sometimes hard to open. My puppy has enjoyed taking off with many dropped pegs.

Title : Bamboo pegs - sustainable
Comment : Did go mouldy fairly quickly - probably not the best if you like leaving your pegs outside.

Title : Practical
Comment : They work well, but have started to get dark, mouldy spots, even though I don't leave them out in the rain etc.

Title : Strong, sturdy ethical peg
Comment : Had these for a year, they are tough and strong. I leave them out on our clothes line (undercover on top verandah), we live in a very wet, humid forest environment and I've had no issues with mould or staining clothes. I do find them quite stiff to use - you really need to press on just the right spot to make them work easily, but because of this they really do grip the washing well and stay put in the strongest of winds!

Title : I don't like them
Comment : Within the first week of having these, they have black mould looking spots all over them. Other than that, I loved them to begin with. They felt nice and smooth and easy to use

Title : Converting to bamboo...
Comment : I'm really happy with these. My first set is about 12~18 months old, and is still going strong. Looking forward to adding more and more as the plastic ones wear out.

Title : Great
Comment : These pegs are great. Lovely and smooth and no splinters yet. However I would love it if they came in a variety with a larger spring to allow them to open wider for thicker clothes items

Title : STRONG!
Comment : Very strong pegs - I have a variety of different pegs in my bag, and these guys are tough! None have broken yet and I've had them for about a year I think. I don't leave them out on the line, and haven't had any problems with staining clothes. They actually can be hard to unpeg - maybe because they are short? Will probably get some more when I need any in the future.

Title : Easy eco alternative
Comment : Good strong pegs - I find that if I leave these clipped to the line all the time they are less likely to discolour or go mouldy. A bit of a scrub with some dish liquid and sometimes a light sand does remove any marks that might get on my clothes. So much better than the cheap plastic ones.

Title : Still better than plastic
Comment : I was very excited to start gradually replacing pegs in my laundry with a more sustainable choice. They grip the clothes well, and the springs are good and strong. HOWever, they are a little small, and when left in a basket with wet washing, went moldy. I would still buy them again to keep replacing broken plastic ones.

Title : Functional and plastic-free
Comment : I was using cheap wooden pegs from a big supermarket so I am sure the wood was unethically sourced and destroying forests somewhere overseas. The bamboo pegs work perfectly fine, I actually like them better because the spring is really firm - I don't worry about the pegs not gripping my clothes on the line on a windy day.

Title : Brilliant!
Comment : Functionally equivalent to plastic and wooden pegs, with the added benefit of being made from a rapidly renewable resource.

Title : Terrible
Comment : These pegs look beautiful, smell devine and feel lovely however it ends there. They are probably hands down the worst pegs I have ever used. They leave stains on whites and spring apart and break quite often. Very disapointed

Title : Firm but fair
Comment : These pegs work well for us. Had them in use for over 6 months now. Some in a bucket in the laundry out of the sun got mouldy but the ones outside (the majority) are fine. A little bit firmer to open than your average wooden pegs but do the job.
