Redecker’s brushes are natural, untreated beechwood. The wood is not sealed using toxic chemicals (unlike many other brands) and consequently when used cracking can occur. This is not a product fault – it is the nature of wood as it naturally expands and contracts when it comes into contact with water.

The Redecker company is one of the last producers of hand-crafted brushes in Germany. With traditional hand threading being increasingly replaced by machines there are very few people worldwide who have mastered the intracies of this craft. However, Redecker's son continues to pass on his knowledge to anyone interested, and – of course – to those who work in the Redecker brush factory.

We are shipping orders in 1 to 2 working days.  Express orders placed by 12noon AEST are sent same day. 

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

*except skin and body care, makeup, food, underwear, earrings, and custom order items, which can not be returned for change of mind.

Standard: Once the order has been shipped, it will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on your destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $60. Shipping for orders under $60 is $9.95.

Express: place orders by noon AEST. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).

Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.

International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.

Great brush

Fantastic brush, cleans really well and removes pretty well anything off my pots! My hubby loves doing the dishes now he can use this!

Great scrubber

This brush is as good as a metal scourer, easier on the hands and much nicer to use. It's also soft enough on most items. I very gently scrub my non-stick pans and it doesn't scratch.

Quality, long lasting brush

Absolutely love this brush and well worth the price! It lasted for around 12 months in our home with daily usage. We always sat it out of the sink to dry off when not in use. The bristles flair nicely but not so much that they flatten out. It's a good shape and gets into crevices well. Also love that it is 100% natural and I could chuck it in the compost at the end of its life!

Discolouration

Not sure if this reacts with vinegar but i have noticed a black stain all around the handle after scrubbing using vinegar. It doesnt affect the use just not sure what it is? maybe pigment from the brush fibres?

good little brush

I keep all my brushes dry after I have finished with them, but the handle on this brush just split open with the constant washing and drying. It's a great little brush but the bristles will outlast the handle.
