the brand story:

Founder and creator Tarmaine, is a Sydney Design School graduate and qualified aesthetician, and has been formulating natural skincare intermittently since her iTEC (International Therapy Examination Council) graduation in 2001. The daughter of a passionate joiner, Tarmaine was taught the importance of detail, quality and craftsmanship from a young age. These learnings developed into curiosity towards the unrefined beauties of the world and an appreciation for the Wabi-Sabi philosophy values of simplicity, modesty and nature. Her frustrations in finding water free and pH neutral care for her young family saw her hobby develop into the multidisciplinary studio that Ħarlo is today.  This skincare collection challenges conventional formulations, the need for cheap fillers, synthetic ingredients and fragrances. • Massage a small amount gently onto clean, damp skin.
• Harlo’s creams are free from waxes and emulsifiers and comprise purely of natural butters and oils. Keeping them at a regulated cool temperature is important and prevents the product from melting, separating or granulating. We recommend storing in a cool dark place below 21°c or in the refrigerator, for those warmer months for a stable consistency.
• Slight variations are expected due to the natural raw materials in the formula. This does not affect the quality of the product.
