But first, what is the IPCC report?

The IPCC is the UN body for assessing the science related to climate change. Its most recent release (which you can read here) has gained a lot of attention. Not only did it state that scientists are observing changes in the Earth's climate in every region, but it also provided new estimates of the chances of crossing the global warming level of 1.5°C in the next decades, and the disastrous impacts that will have. However, it's not all bad news. Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis also outlined that human actions still have the potential to determine the future course of climate – meaning that we can still do something about this!
