Other 'degradable' plastic bags on the market are polyethelene bags with a percentage of plant starch or additives. Degradable bags break down into pieces of plastic debris that do not compost.
To avoid misleading claims and be sure that the bags you purchase will actually biodegrade rapidly and safely, look for independent certification. Our bags are fully certified to EU OK Compost and US standards to be 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. They contain no polyethylene.

45 day returns: If you are not satisfied with a product that you ordered online (*exceptions below), you are welcome to return it to us within 45 days, unused, unworn, and in a pristine saleable condition with the original labels attached, packaging and we will refund your cost of goods - you can either post back to us or return to one of our stores. Items marked 'Final Sale' can not be returned unless faulty.

Standard: Normally our orders leave within 24 hours from Brisbane (Monday - Friday). Orders will arrive in 2 to 7 days depending on destination. Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over $75. Shipping for orders under $75 is $9.95, or $6.95 for delivery to SE Qld postcodes 4000-4299, 4500-4549.
Express: place orders by 10am. Orders generally arrive next day if you are in the Australia Post Next Day Delivery network and subject to Australia Post fulfilling its guarantee. Only available for orders up to 4kg (excludes bulky/heavy items such as Bokashi bins, cleaning products and large size items to areas outside Brisbane unless you wish to pay the total Australia Post Express Post charge).
Click & Collect: simply choose your store pick up location at checkout and we will arrange for your order to be there within 3 to 4 working days (1 working day for Milton warehouse) for free. Please wait until you receive an email or text to advise that your goods are ready to be collect.
International: Flat rate shipping from $15 for orders up to 2kg. We ship to NZ, USA, Canada, UK/Ireland, China, Europe (EU) and other countries. International orders are not subject to sales tax, so most prices are less 10% when purchased from overseas. The final cost of shipping is shown at checkout once you have added your delivery location.

I have found that these bags can decompose too quickly in the bin, e.g. if you don't throw out regularly or if you have too much wet stuff in there. I also agree with other reviewers that they seem smaller than their advertised size. Hopefully the technology improves over time as we need to reduce plastic.
Works well and now happily converted to BioBag for non-compostible kitchen waste.
Love the idea, but really wish they had handles for such a large sized bin bag. I found that they started to break apart a little too quickly to work in a bigger sized bin also
I purchased these knowing that many "biodegradable" options aren't actually very environmentally friendly. These live up to their claims of decomposition, but the process begins in the bin if you're not careful about what you put in there - anything too wet and the bag starts to go soggy and break down. This can be problematic if you don't produce a lot of waste and don't empty the bin daily, but if this doesn't bother you then it's an excellent plastic-free alternative. An easier top for tying would also be great, but is managed easily enough without.
I've been actively looking for ways to reduce my plastic use and these are fantastic. I find them strong and a great size. They may be slightly smaller than you would expect but this hasn't been a problem for me. They certainly do the job!
