These auto dishwasher powders are just what an earth-friendly product needs to be — it works just as well as conventional alternatives, is very economical and is safe for people and the environment.

EnviroClean dishwasher powder contains no phosphate or chlorine bleaches, so there are no chlorine fumes to breathe in when you open the door. Conventional dishwasher powder also generally contains caustic ingredients (caustic means capable of burning, corroding, dissolving, or eating away by chemical action).

Directions:
Super concentrated: please take care to only every use one level teaspoon OR LESS per load. The 1kg container should last at least three times as long as your standard dishwasher powder box—certainly at least 200 washes. Using too much will produce too many suds and actually make the poweder work less effectively.

For a sparkling finish, we recommend that you always use vinegar as a rinse aid.

Customer feedback: because this powder is very concentrated, it may not be suitable for two-drawer dishwashers that use little water. For tea and coffee stains, you may need to first wipe around the cups with a cloth.

Like all EnviroClean products, it contains no petrochemicals, phosphates, chlorine, caustics, animal ingredients, sodium lauryl sulphate or other harmful chemicals. It is biodegradable, septic and sewerage safe.

11/14/2009 Shebeeka B.		Excellent stuff! Yes you do only need 1 teaspoon per wash, and it washes sparkling clean every time. Canister lasted ages even with using my dishwasher couple times a week. Better than a well known supermarket brand I used recently which did a terrible job.
10/24/2008 Katrina B.		I've been using this product for a few months now. I have a dish drawer dishwasher and initially I had a lot of problems including dishes not being clean and excessive foam, even though I'd only use 1 flat spoonful of powder, which lead to me having to make a service call also. However, I ran the dish drawer on an empty cycle and put some white vinegar in the main body of the dishdrawer which cleaned out the residue left from the foam. I now only use 1/2 a teaspoon for a normal cycle and white vinegar in place of any rinse aid and my dishes come up really good and I haven't had a problem with foam build up.

I just wanted to let others know that while this product is a great product, it isn't suited for the dish drawer dishwashers, which use much less water than regular dishwashers (only 3+ litres a load). The powder, even at much smaller quantities than recommended, does not dissolve and leaves a white powdery coating all over glasses etc and a thick, white residue throughout the machine (everywhere). I learnt this the hard way and ended up having to pay for a service call as a result.
11/07/2007 Donna R.		I absolutely love this stuff. I was sceptical at first, I mean how could anything with virtually no chemicals in it really work. BUT IT DOES......what a wonderful product. I've been using it for nearly 2 months and am not even half way through the container (and that's using it every day)!!
