Green Magazine Issue 48

You could say that this issue is all about being bold. Build a hot red house in the middle of the bush, design your home beneath towering gums, with a window slicing through the ceiling, consider living in a smaller space or take a page out of Alex de Rijke's book and build a house that travels along rails to optimise passive solar gain.

Add to this, great thermal properties and coming in on budget and it's undeniably a winner. Sally and Herbert from Habitat nursery, have demonstrated great perseverance over 20 years to ensure the success of native landscape rehabilitation projects across Tasmania.
