    Glass Water Bottles
How to choose the right water bottle for you - Lifefactory

Water tastes fantastic from a glass water bottle. Our glass water bottles do not contain BPA, phthalates or any other plastic derived toxins. Plus, they are great for carrying flavoured drinks, as glass doesn’t absorb beverage flavours.

While a glass water bottle will break if dropped, many companies like Lifefactory (pictured) and Camelbak, fit their glass water bottles with a protective sleeve to reduce the possibility of breakage.

    Great for:

    • Those who aren’t likely to drop their water bottles frequently
    • Love drinking flavoured drinks

Stainless Steel Water BottlesHow to choose the right water bottle for you - Klean Kanteen

Stainless steel water bottles will last a lifetime. The brands that we stock at Biome are beautifully crafted from one solid piece of food grade stainless steel. Additionally, they are not lined with petroleum derived sealants and leach no harmful toxins. An insulated stainless steel bottle such as those from Klean Kanteen (pictured) or S’well will keep cool liquids cool and warm liquids hot for up to 12 hours, depending on the design.

One downside to stainless steel bottles though is that they may dent and become scratched if dropped.

    Great for:

    • Those who like to keep liquids cool or warm for long periods (opt for an insulated stainless steel bottle in this case)
    • Aren’t fazed by a few scratches over time

BPA & PVC Free Water Bottles

How to choose the right water bottle for you - Camelbak

BPA & PVC free plastic water bottles are great for those who are a bit rougher with their bottles. You can repeatedly drop a plastic bottle without worrying about breaking or scratching it. They are generally the more lightweight option to carry around too.

When choosing a plastic water bottle be sure to select one that is high quality, does not contain BPA or PVC. We love Camelbak and Contigo.

We do not recommend putting safe plastic water bottles in the freezer or dishwasher, and they are not suitable for warm liquids.

    Great for:

    • Those who don’t want to be too worried about having to be really gentle with their water bottle
    • Like a lightweight bottle
