Mix & match your perfect reusable lunch (+ chance to win!)

We get many requests as to which of our containers fit with in which of our lunch bags. We have created some handy guides so you can mix and match your favourite options to create the best set for you.

Some examples of how our trusted eco brands mix & match beautifully. Above left: Keep Leaf insulated lunch bag snugly fits a Goodbyn bynto; above right: A Wean Green tub (perfect for yoghurt or dips), nestled in a Goodbyn bynto, inside a So Young insulated lunch box!
We know that finding the perfect lunch box for you or the kids is a challenge. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to lunch containers! We stock a big collection of food containers and lunch bags for this reason so that you can mix and match a perfect combo of the right sizes, colours and important practicalities (like ice pack options for keeping things cool, the right lid seals for little fingers and/or liquids, etc)…
See our newly compiled guides to many possible lunch box and lunch bag combinations!
Please note: The combinations just are a guide and not an exhaustive list. Please feel free to contact us via our chat or on 1300 301 767 with any further questions.

I love love love the black and Blum bento boxes and the keep leaf lunch bags. All I see in the work fridge is plastic tubs wrapped in plastic bags!! I’m sure I could turn a few heads with this gorgeous lunch pack. Spread the eco love!
Our son starts prep this month and I’m still scouring the stores for the perfect lunch box / cooler combination.
I love the kids Konserve nesting trio in a mini blue insulated lunch tote. Then I’d add a semi frozen bottle of water to keep everything cool.
I am obsessed with little containers for lunches as well as lunchboxes with different compartments, keeping everything separate and in its place! And I love using containers as opposed to bags which end up in the garbage. Im loving the Goodbyn original lunch box – pineapple, the colour is fun and I love that it has room for different snacks of different sizes.I woudl also use the Goodbyn mix & match lunch box set – green and would pack it all into BUILT NY extra relish lunch tote – scatterdot.
I love the So Young Backpack and Goodbyn Bynto lunch box combination. I currently send my daughter to daycare with her Goodbyn Bynto lunch box stuffed into her bag. I’d love to score a So Young Backpack!
My son is 2 years old and goes to daycare. He snacks a lot and won’t eat a lot of one thing so I give him a lot of small containers of different snacks. But one container with different compartments would be good to keep it all together a bit neater.
My son thinks the SoYoung Insulated Lunch Box – blue aeroplane and Goodbyn Bynto – Blue is a rocking combination for year one and looks fantastic too! I really liked your Lunch Box Size guide, terrific idea biome
I would really love the Goodbyn Mix and Match Lunchbox Set in Pink, and the Goodbyn Lunch Bag in Blue Words. I am starting a new degree in a couple of months and I want to stick to my diet (gluten-free and dairy-free) which is so hard when I’m on campus!! So this year I’m going to do things right and take salads and gluten-free sandwiches with me when I’m there!!
Thanks for having a great site, by the way
I lover Black & Blum Benot Boxes,Lunch Pot and Thermo Pot,putting this into U Konserve Insulated Lunch tote(or 2) will keep my raw salads, fruit salads and snacks fresh and crisp and my soup in the thermo pot fresh.
Our daughter is 3 and goes to Family Day Care twice a week. We send her off with the ecococoon insulated water bottle as she loves her water cold – she is currently using mine – we need to buy her one. We find the Goodbyn Mix and Match set works well as she can just take out the little containers for morning tea and afternoon tea. without having to take her whole lunchbox out .side. We also have reusable snack bags and lunch wraps which she loves and we find easy to care for.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to reduce the amount of packaging and one-use containers by taking my own lunch when I go out.
I love the colours of the pink Keep Leaf Insulated lunch bag and the Goodbyn Bynto.
My son is already set up with his bento box and insulated carrier, so my personal combo would be the U Konserve insulated tote in slate, containing a lunchbots uno in purple and a lunchbots duo in orange
We are working on our lunchboxes combos as our children get a little older (ages four, almost eight, eleven and thirteen). Here’s what we’ve come up with so far:
http://seemyfootprints.blogspot.com.au/2012/01/stainless-lunchboxes-reviews-and-lunch.html
We’re still stuck on a couple of things and are short on the smaller containers like the Konserve trio and the square and rectangle Konserve. The Lunchbots quad also looks like it could work well for Master Kindergarten… so still trying things out but certainly happy so far
Cheers
I’m think for myself some Wean Green glass containers – love the glass.
For my daughter some Lunchbots containers – love the stainless steel for her.
We could both do with a So Young insulated lunch box!
Mangoes are a favourite fruit right now so that would be a very cool colour.
For my daughter the kids konserve nestling trio sky would be awesome to use for her snacks, cut up fruit etc – love the fact they are leakproof lids, lunch box duo pink stainless steel for her sandwhich/wrap.
These containers would then go in the keep leaf insulated lunch bag – birds which is adorable. Really hard to choose just one as soooo many i love and maybe my daugher would have different ideas lol
I’m on a mission to replace all our plastics with glass or stainless steel. In this instance I’d definitely go stainless steel for a lighter weight for my 2.5 year old girl to take to family day care and to hopefully last her until preschool and even school. So it’s an easy choice:
and the giraffe. The aeroplane and rockets on the other bags are great too!
Lunchbots quad, which looks like it only comes in green? That’s fine but I’d prefer the purple or blue of their colours. I’d also love to see red!
And I’d put it in the So Young backpack because I don’t want an additional bag for lunch, it would need to fit other items in it too. They have some beautiful pictures on them, it’s probably a good thing there isn’t too much choice for the backpack! I would choose the robot. But I also love the scooter (for the red
Black + Blum thermo lunch pot. I much prefer using stainless steel for durability and hygiene aspects. Love the spork that attaches to the side with magnets and how it keeps food hot for up to six hours. Also LunchBots duo (silver small) stainless steel lunch box for snacks to replace my disposable zip lock bags which will be more economical in the long term. I would carry it all in an Insulated large lunch bag with brown birds design. Being able to switch to using the carry strap instead of the handle when I have my hands full will be very, er, hand-y. This combo is urban, stylish and sophisticated, in other words, VERY grown up. Using it will encourage me to eat much more healthily!
