Once upon a time there was a neglected redwood beam. The redwood sat in a salvage yard, remembering the days when it held up the roof of an old barn in Northern California. One day the redwood was picked up. It was chopped, drilled, sanded and varnished. The redwood had become what other wooden beams only dreamt of becoming; a wood tie. The wood tie traveled the world. It was light weight and flexible, envied by all aspiring stylish fashion accessories. It was this wooden tie.
