Mokosh takes an unconventional approach to their formulations, using no water. The moisturisers are thus very concentrated - up to 5 times more than a standard lotion - and so only require a tiny dab. And, by leaving out the water, they are able to leave out preservatives. The face cleanser is a powder, to which you add water at the time of use, keeping the product fresh and activating many of the beneficial ingredients at the time of application.
